Who we are

Arthlens (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") publishes editorial guides about credit cards and loans in India. In this document, "you" means any visitor or reader of arthlens.example.

What we collect

  • Information you provide voluntarily. Your name and email when you complete the guided check. Any message you send us through the contact form.
  • Guided-check answers. The five self-described answers (credit profile, goal, amount, employment, and the contact step). Stored in your browser's local storage by default.
  • Technical information. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, referrer, timestamps) and cookie-based analytics, if you consent.

What we do not collect

  • Credit bureau data. We never pull your CIBIL, Experian, CRIF or Equifax report.
  • PAN, Aadhaar, or other government identifiers.
  • Bank account details, card numbers, or any payment information.

How we use your information

  • To save and display your guided-check results.
  • To send optional educational updates you've expressly opted into. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
  • To improve the site's content and user experience through aggregated analytics.
  • To respond to your messages and feedback.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep the site functioning. With your consent, we use analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the preferences link in the cookie banner or by clearing site data in your browser.

Arthlens uses Google AdSense to display advertising on this site. Google is a third-party vendor and uses cookies — including the DART cookie — to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

  • Advertising partners (including Google AdSense) who serve ad units labelled "Advertisement", subject to your cookie consent.
  • Authorities, if required by applicable law.

Retention

We keep your contact information only as long as you remain subscribed, plus a short period for audit and compliance purposes. If you ask us to delete your data, we do so within a reasonable time unless we're required to keep it for legal reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Write to privacy@arthlens.example and we'll act on it.

Children

Arthlens is intended for readers who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for subscribers, describe the change in a scheduled email.
