What we publish

Arthlens publishes structured, India-focused editorial guides on credit cards and personal credit products. Each guide is built to answer three questions:

  1. What category of product might fit this reader's profile?
  2. What should they compare before applying?
  3. What should they prepare, and what should they watch out for?

What we don't do

  • We don't originate loans.
  • We don't operate a lending panel.
  • We don't publish "guaranteed approval" claims, urgency countdowns, or fake live counters.
  • We don't sell your contact details. Our Privacy Policy is binding on that.

Editorial methodology

Our guides are built from publicly available reporting, RBI datasets and disclosures, primary documents from regulated lenders (MITC, key fact statements, tariff schedules), and the experience of reading thousands of applicant questions. When we cite ranges, we cite them as ranges — not as promises.

Numbers and product characteristics are reviewed at least twice a year. When a material change happens (regulation, benchmark shift, major product category update), we edit the page and date-stamp the change.

Separation of editorial and commercial

Some sections of the site may carry advertising placements or comparison partnerships. We commit to:

  • Labelling all commercial content clearly and visibly.
  • Never letting advertisers edit or shape editorial guides.
  • Keeping the guided check and its logic independent from any sponsorship.

Read the full Advertising Disclosure for how this works in practice.

Language we try to avoid

"Guaranteed approval." "Lowest APR in India." "Pre-approved for you in seconds." These phrases are common in the category, and we think they misrepresent how borrowing actually works. We use careful, calm language: may fit, commonly considered, worth reviewing. It's less exciting, and it's more honest.
